Bread of Life is committed to our ministry philosophy: "Every Member, a Minister".
Each one of us has been given specific spiritual gifts by God for the purpose of building up His Body the Church. Discovering and exercising your God-given spiritual gifts allows you to experience maximum fulfillment with minimum frustration in your Christian life and ministry.

Since Spiritual Gifts are God given for the purpose of building up the Church it is important that each believer put their gifts to work in the Church. Our ministries at Bread of Life fall into six groups. Each group offers several service opportunities.

Celebration Ministries
The heart of these ministries is directed toward God by engaging the Church in the Word, worship, song, the arts, etc.
Outreach Ministries
The heart of these ministries is focused on service to others in our local community and the world. Outreach ministries include relating, attracting, and connecting unbelievers and the unchurched to a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.
We sent three missionaries in February, 2010 on a medical mission to the Dominican Republic to live our mission statement, "Serve God's world". in the Dominican Republic
Connecting Ministries
The heart of these ministries is assimilating visitors, attenders, and members into a relationship with Christ and the Church through hospitality, fellowship, and encouragement.
Equipping Ministries
The heart of these ministries is encouraging believers in use of their own gifts, ministry, training, and leadership. It serves a variety of needs based groups for growth, accountability, and service.
Caring Ministries
The heart of these ministries is assisting people in the church and community with their physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual health through the grace, love, and resources of the Kingdom of God.
We prepare and serve a hot meal to children and adults in Peoria's South Side once every three months. Our adults and children work together in this important project.
Supporting Ministries
The heart of these ministries is freeing other people, leaders, and ministries from practical concerns to keep focused on their ministry goals. They involve structuring the systems and procedures to serve and support the people and our ministries.
