About Bread of Life

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Bread of Life and our community. Bread of Life opened this new ministry with its first service on September 16, 2007. We hope that after you look through our website and worship with us, you will consider becoming part of our growing community of faith.

Led by The Reverend Canon John Blossom (Fr. John), Bread of Life offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who seek to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We offer ministries that fall into six groups. We utilize "Network", a process designed to assist every believer to find and participate in their own, unique ministry.

Mission Statement

  • Love God
  • Love His people
  • Serve His world!

What to Expect When You Visit

The principal worship at Bread of Life is the Holy Eucharist, or as it is also known, "The Lord's Supper," "Holy Communion," or "The Mass." Uplifting contemporary praise and worship music, scripture based preaching, and "guest friendly" surroundings are basics at Bread of Life.

Our children's programs are fun-filled, engaging opportunities for young people to grow in spiritual development and fellowship. Pre-schoolers use "LilK" and sometimes they like it so much that don't want to leave.  At Bread of Life youngsters are an important part of our life as a community.

Worship in the Episcopal/Anglican Church is said to be "liturgical," which means that the congregation follows the same service form and prayers from texts that don't change very much from week to week during each season of the Church year. The lessons from Bible and the "theme" of the day changes each week.  At Bread of Life the liturgy is easy to follow and invites full participation of all assembled. Giving worship to God and experiencing His presence in our midst is enhanced by audio-visual tools and a combination of traditional hymns and contemporary music.
